I will stamp all over 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
